Jumping Spider - Flesh Fly

While wandering around the garden I spied this Jumping Spider with its big catch, a flesh fly. It was struggling to lift the fly up the strand of web. The fly is about 2 1/2 times bigger than the spider.

Hook and eye safety catch, flimsy security for a hand painted wooden box.

Very Large Catch.

Eagle at Bombay Hook NWR with a fish that was too large for it to lift. So it was dragging it towards the shore until another eagle tried to steal it and the fish escaped.
