Having a nice late lunch at Pacific Catch! This was at the Pacific Catch restaurant around Dublin, CA. I was with my cuzz at the time. We just came from the San Francisco Premium Outlets located around Livermore, CA. We went to a few stores there including the Disney store. I finally got my Stitch stuffed animals while she got the stuff she needed. Shopping certainly works up an appetite! For me, I ordered the fish tacos while we shared the calamari appetizer. I catch 12 red salmon in about 3 hours of dip netting. Not bad for my first time. The fishing really picked up as I started to leave, but you have to know when to quit. Under our permit we could have taken 85 fish, but 12 was enough. Especially when some of the larger ones were around 12 pounds.
Kerala is known for its wealth of sea food, especially Karimeen Polichattu (a kind of fish). People make fresh catches everyday to be cooked for lunch and dinner. It is very common to spot the localites fishing on the backwaters of Alappuzha. there's more at Gourmet tour of India
