Our annual Catalyst Luncheon was held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. This dynamic shows your investment at work through engaging activities and inspiring stories from those who have been touched by COSI's mission.
"Catalyst Location: Minnetrista Campus, 1200 N. Minnetrista Pkwy., Muncie, IN. Catalyst was commissioned for Minnetrista by Virginia B. Ball to honor her husband, Edmund F. Ball. The design represents partnership, giving and stewardship which were important ideals of Mr. Ball. It was also intended to represent a century of giving by the Ball family, their stewardship of the land, and Minnetrista as a catalyst in the community. The sculpture was dedicated in June 2004. The artist is Beverly Stucker Precious of Indianapolis.
The completed sculpture is comprised of 32,000 pounds of limestone, 17,000 pounds of stainless steel and 2,000 pounds of dichroic and plate glass. Forty-four hundred hours went into the fabrication of steel for Catalyst, which is 26 feet in diameter."

This is a poster I created for use at the annual Catalyst leadership conference. The theme is Together and artists could submit their artwork based on the theme. I took elements from other pieces I created to create this poster, but I couldn't think of any better way to say "together" than with the John Wesley quote at the bottom. I think it says "Together" pretty well.
Sheffield's iconic Women of Steel on Mother’s Day after the murder of Sarah Everard in London allegedly by a serving Metropolitan police officer. Hopefully this tragic event will be the catalyst for real change and the streets will be safer going forward. Sunday 14th March 2021

On the weekend of November 20-21, 2010, I was invited to photograph the new Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas prior to their opening December 15, 2010 in Las Vegas NV.
This set of images represents my efforts that weekend to showcase this newest resort property opening up on the Las Vegas Strip. Thanks to David Scherer from The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas for showing me around, to Miiko Mentz at Katalyst Films for helping to arrange the shoot, and to my wife for modeling for me.
