Castro da Lanzada is a castrex town originally from the 8th century BC. It contains a necropolis that was used until the 3rd - 4th centuries AD.
It is located in Sanxenxo and sits on the base of a point that enters the sea, in the vicinity of the remains of a medieval fortress, known as the Lanzada tower. At the western end stands the chapel of Nuestra Señora da Lanzada.
Coñecido como A Cibdá (cidade en castelán antigo), é un dos castros máis antigos de Galicia e foi o primeiro que contou cunha datación científica co método do C-14. Estivo habitado entre os séculos VI a. C. e o I d.C. e parece que a vida desapareceu dun modo lento, non repentino, a xulgar polo tipo, estado e localización dos materiais.
The Castro de Baroña is a fort located in the parish of Baroña, a municipality of Porto do Son in the province of A Coruña (Galicia, Spain. GPS Co-ordinates: 42°41'41.40"N 9°1'57.10"W). The settlement, surrounded by two walls and containing twenty roundhouses that still remain today, was built on a peninsula and inhabited from the 1st Century BC to the 1st Century AD.

Penacova is located 20 kilometers from Coimbra - Portugal, in a bend of the Mondego, and branches off by ups and stony hills that provide great natural beauty. The toponym derives from the term pen and grave, the first of which gave rise to the portuguese word penha (lot or rock) and cova grave derives from the characteristics of the village. Although there are some doubts about the Foundation of Penacova, it is certain that was resettled in the reign of King Sancho-I in 1192. In 1605 Penacova was elevated to a municipality. After successive reforms, Penacova is composed by nine parishes. Its main economic activity is agriculture and forestry which is the most significant sector for the County. The forest zone occupies 70% of the municipality. There are many good hiking trails around Penacova.

It started out by being named Penedo do Cheira, because it was located above the villag of Cheira, but was later called Penedo de Castro, in 1908, as a tribute to the writer Augusto Mendes Simões Castro. It has impressive panoramic views of Penacova.
Het heuvelachtige, groene stroomdal van de Rio Mondego, ten noordoosten van Coimbra, is schitterend. De IP3 volgt aanvankelijk de Mondego, een hoofdweg als een achtbaan, met schitterende vergezichten. Penacova ligt 20 km ten noordoosten van Coimbra. Dit is een redelijk oud stadje hoog boven de rivier, met een prachtig uitzicht over de vallei, dat alleen wordt aangetast door de weg aan de overzijde. Het stadje zelf is niet veel bijzonders - een pleintje, een paar cafés en restaurants, de rivier en de bossen - in tegenstelling tot de bewerkte tandenstokers, palitos, die hier te koop zijn. Deze schitterende kunstvoorwerpen worden door de vrouwen uit dit plaatsje niet de hand gesneden uit wilgenhout. De sierlijkste exemplaren doen denken aan dartpijltjes.
