I've heard others refer to this very pretty female fox as "Sweetpea." She's a wild fox that lives off one of the trails in Anchorage. Here she gives me a pretty image as she sits in the snow and casts a shadow.

Winter makes things terse but simple and reflective. A shadow things cast gives incomplete story of it. But the story it is.

Caught on the column inside the Union Fare Restaurant on East 17th Street in Manhattan. The restaurant is housed inside the original Barnes & Nobel bookstore, which you entered on Fifth Avenue at 18th Street, but occupied the block between 17th and 18th Streets. It is now a very good restaurant and a very cool space.
