Plaster casts at art school, Kodak Portra 160 NC in Zero Image pinhole camera f/138. Approx 50 minute exposure time
I did not make any resolutions this year, because let's face it, follow-through is not one of my strengths. BUT, I am going to post more photos. I take tons of photos. Tons. I have over 20,000 in Picasa web albums. I've only posted around 4,000 photos to Flickr over the last three years. Long story short: I'll be posting more photos. I made rosemary roasted potatoes on Sunday. I added way too much salt. The little salt pig and the cutting board were both Christmas presents from my Boo. He rules.
View On Black Definitely have to thank Alex for the inspiration. I saw this spot in his amazing photostream, and couldn't resist. www.kevinleebaker.zenfolio.com
This is KMac's cast for his ton ligament or tendon. His whole hand is swollen and I could feel the pain by just looking at it. He was very intoxicated, probably because of the pain.
Patterned, cut, fit, and crafted a quick change cast boot. Foot is built over a high heel shoe to match height of heel worn on other foot. Heavy duty metal zipper is stitched into canvas sock which was then wrapped in plaster (leaving zipper clear). To hide back seam, an elastic band was built that the dresser would pull up the leg after zipping the boot.
