Paine River is a river located in the Magallanes Region of Chile. The river rises from its source in Dickson Lake and flows east for nine kilometres to Paine Lake. After flowing through the lake, the river runs for 15 km, first southward and then westward to Nordenskjöld Lake, reaching Torres del Paine national park. This part of the river's course includes the Paine Cascade.
Cascade Ponds are a series of ponds that lie under Cascade Mountain in Banff National Park, connected by foot bridges. There are plenty of picnic benches and BBQ fire pits to enjoy a picnic at.
I lucked out that evening with the pretty pink clouds, even only lasted for less than few minutes, as most of the days during our visit were cloudless!
I actually almost missed the pink clouds, the color appeared too fast. I was quite far away from this viewpoint and had to run back like a crazy woman, and extended the tripod in quick motions as I had it all the way down.

Cascade Ponds - This is just small ponds framed by beautiful mountains and pine trees at Banff National park. It offers a very beautiful place for a walk. The views on every directions had their unique beauties with Canadian Rocky as a backdrop.

La nature est dans toute sa splendeur, en cette période, dans les Hautes Fagnes. L'occasion de découvrir ces paysages et notamment la cascade de Bayehon, la deuxième cascade la plus importante du pays après celle de Coo. Elle fait neuf mètres de haut et est située à proximité du village de Longfaye sur la commune de Malmedy.
I have been mesmerized by water lately and have been photographing creeks. I love the flow of the water, the reflections, and the constant motion and churning. I took this shot while in Victoria a couple of weeks ago.
This image shot in the rain just before "bomb cyclone" hit the Pacific Northwest this weekend. The colors were just changing, and I wonder how many leaves will remain once the storm abates.
