As Uncles now own a cartoon collection quite remarkable ( see previous photos), it of course needs to store somewhere. Preferably somewhere where they'd be easily within reach if cartoon lust strikes.
I can't imagine better place than Villa Bastet's 3rd floor's hall: there's a doorway to Villa's only bathroom ( remember it's an old house) and quite often one have to wait his/ her turn in a hall. Then it's handy if there's something easy reader available. And somebody may bring a cartoon inside the bathroom too, if there's a longer session to be expected ;-)
Ah- there's Afro Uncle choosing his reading- seems he's going to pick "The Rivals of Painful Gulch". Great choice!
As you can see, there is not much to read... I am still trying to catch up. But I really wanted to show you this book. When I was in DC, there was an exhibition of Herblock's political cartoons. Amazing person, amazing drawings. You can pretty much study American history by looking at them. Recently they published a new book which includes a dvd with 18,000 cartoons. I loooooooove them!

Good morning and Happy Dragonfly Thursday. Featured today is a female Blue Dasher (Pachydiplax longipennis), of which I haven't posted any pictures in quite a while. Over six months to be exact. Coincidently these photos were taken on the same day (June 3rd) as when I last posted a series on the female Blue Dasher. And so you'll know, these are all of the same female even though she's on a different perch in the last photo in the comment section.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a truly nice day.
