**P.S. Decided to post this one for the challenge, even though it's more "red" than "Ohio Foothills-ish"...specifically the trees/snow/house reflection is of Madison Avenue on Pike Hill.
still stuck on red and Roonie...this is his rear, driver's side with the same reflection of my neighbor's homes/yards only it's a little curvy due to being on the rear panel instead of the window; decided to keep the car theme going with the stop-sign framing and tire track background...probably overkill, but oh well---photoshop play continues :) Again, Roonie's actually maroon--I brightened him up in honor of my "red" hunting :) He's gonna have an identity complex soon if I keep doing that (ha!).
For the 52 Weeks Photo Chain challenge, I went to week 27, and hcorper’s colorful picture of a race car was just ahead of my picture in the pool. I decided to stick with the toy car theme, but do the opposite of colorful and take a picture of my zebra striped Volkswagen. This is my first time to try a reflection on plexiglas. The plexiglas I had on hand did not give a sharp reflection, but I got the general effect I was going for. It’s on my wish list to get a good piece of plexiglas and experiment with this type of photography.

{Winter 2008/Qatar}~
Had my second round of orientation at work today. It was stressful. I'm looking forward to making money.
I'm making post-secondary plans for college next year. That's exciting.
I had a really good day. I like life today.
This picture and it's name didn't mean as much until I realized what I meant. (Haha?) I found a song today that's called "Not Meant To Be" by Theory of a Deadman, and it applies to a situation of mine quite well. It's always scary when I find music that applies to a situation I'm in in a position way, because then I know I have something to help me get through that time. It being a positive/neutral sounding song also helps it to be a help. No more scapegoats, baby, I have music now.

P.S. Dad got my wireless working!
P.P.S. I really meant to continue with the car theme, but was not around one to use today.

The J.C. Whitney catalog was one of my favorite wish books when I was a young teenager. The company began in 1915 and after a few mergers, is still in operation, originally in Chicago but now in LaSalle, IL.
35mm Single Use Camera
24 exposures of ASA 400 film.
No expiration date.
As long as I have a car theme going I might as well throw this one in the mix.
I may have found some info about this car and trailer. I noticed the license plate was ALCOX. I googled alcox and hot rod and found this article: www.fuelcurve.com/harley-and-linda-alcox/
In my picture the car has the smaller tires on the car and big tires on the trailer. In the article the big tires are on the car and the small ones are on the trailer.
The internet is an amazing resource...
I see NAPA Auto Parts stores in most towns of any size. The company was founded in 1925.
35mm Single Use Camera With Flash.
14 exposures of ASA 400 film.
09-2003 expiration date.
This was a natural one for me. Especially after going to the car show this past weekend. There are so many car themed songs out there it was hard to pick. I wanted to do She's real fine my 409 but didn't have any good photos of the 409 that was there. And of course I could have done Little GTO but this Prince song just seemed appropriate.
First in a series of minifig-scale car-themed photographs. You like? I wanted to give it a musty garage look, but it didn't turn out too well. The next one should be better. This one depicts a vintage motorcycle, recently restored and ready to tear up some twisty roads.

- This car has a four-speed manual gearbox and rear wheel drive.
- The remarkable circular radiator is only used by a few car makers, like De Dion Bouton, Delaunay-Belleville (F) and Spyker (NL).

About the photographs.
Am y ffotograffau.
This is Olivia, a model I found on the modelling website called ModelFolio. I booked her for a two-hours outdoor photo-shoot in the countryside outside of Newport (Welsh: Casnewydd). The photo-shoot was to be a three part theme which is 1) a fashion photo-shoot showcasing fur fashion, 2) a girls-and-cars themed photo-shoot, and finally 3) as part of a graphic design project. The above photo was carried out for the graphic design project.
Here, Olivia is pretending to be a fictional private detective, in a non-existence television show. The purpose of this photo-shoot is for me to create a DVD case cover design. I would prefer to do my own photo-shoots of models I book for my own graphic design projects, rather than to use someone else’s photos of real actresses, and come up with totally fictional studio name, titles, and story plot summary of my own.
After all, I’m not only a photographer, but also a graphic designer. I trained in graphic design at college, while I worked as an assistant for a professional photographer. This is just a graphic design project, mainly to keep up my skills and experience, and also to showcase my graphic design work.
I’ve designed the DVD case cover, and will display it in my Photostream at a later date.
In the above photo: Olivia plays the role of a fictional private detective, who would have been hired by a client to carry out an investigation. Her investigations would lead her to a farmland, and you can see her holding a map, as if to check and confirm the location. It is a proper Ordnance Survey map used as a prop. As the road was extremely less busy, barely a couple of cars would come by in an hour, not counting a tractor, so it was safer for her to walk in the middle of the road as seen in the photograph. I asked Olivia to act like as if she drove the Land Rover, parked there, got out and looking around, like as if tracking down someone or something.
The car behind her is a Land Rover Freelander, and is actually my own car, but for the fictional story, she would be the kind of person who would prefer a trusty vehicle that she had for years, and that this would be the kind of outfits she would likely to wear.
Olivia is wearing a winter outfit containing of a Size S black faux fur jacket with leopard patterns collar and cuffs from Leana London. The company is likely to have been a manufacturer or a retailer, but there is not much details about Leana, and the company may have closed down before the Internet became popular.
She is also wearing a white cowl neck jumper, the design of the cowl gives the illustration of wearing a scarf, along with black trousers, and white ankle height trainers.
The car behind her is a 2005 Land Rover Freelander four-wheel-drive.
It is a diesel 2.0L Td4 SE model with manual gearbox, and a BMW M47 engine. This is a 5-door compact SUV, and is considered to be an affordable and entry-level model in the Land Rover production range.
The tyres seen on this car are BF Goodrich T/A KO2 All Terrain tyres on steel wheels.
The first generation Freelander was built between 1997 to 2006, and the second generation from 2006 to 2015, when it was replaced by the Land Rover Discovery Sport.

Fake lomo effect applied ! The fake lomo script is mentioned Here, it gives an effect similar to that produced by a Lomo camera.
Way back when Carsland first opened, I remember walking into Flo's Cafe and thinking how cool it would be to return on a rainy day during the off season when the crowds had thinned out and to sit by one of those large windows and just watch the rain come down with a good cup of coffee.
Well, last Thursday, I finally got my chance. I had just loaded up on a large mocha from Ghriadelli's when it began to come down in buckets, so I headed over to Flo's and just sat and watched as the first Winter storm of the year moved in. Following the storm, I headed out with my camera as I was looking forward to seeing what the wet pavement would do to all of that Neon in Carsland. As amazing as this place looks on a typical night, the neon is INSANE on rainy nights as you are now getting all of this intense color from above AND below. I spent the next few hours shooting, and after muttering a few choice words at guests who consistently kept wandering into my shots until around 9PM I looked up and found that I suddenly had the entire land entirely to myself. I think there may have been one or two cast members around, but for about 10 minutes, I was literally the only person in Radiator Springs.
The other cool thing was that they have already decorated Carsland for the holidays, and garlands that had been strung across the streets included whitewall tires used as wreaths. The Christmas sound loop is amazing with either cars themed holiday songs or Christmas songs from the 50's. Who knew that there were THAT many car-themed Christmas songs, including an entire album of Truck carols?
Truly an amazing night. Here's hoping we get a lot of rain this Winter!

It's time to look back and to sum up what I've built in the past twelve months.
2019 was quite a productive year for me and I had a lot of fun. I have built some MOCs I am particularly proud of and that I had on my wishlist since a lot of time.
My goal at the beginning of the year was building one MOC per month and I did it! I built different kind of MOCs: car-themed MOCs, street-food buildings, sci-fi creations, pop-themed builds.
In September, I went back to the LEGO House to bring my creations back home. My time at the Masterpiece Gallery was expired. It was great to be part of the LEGO House project and I’m happy to see new talented builders taking my place at the Masterpiece Gallery. I attended the Skaerbaek Fan Weekend for the second time and it was a lot of fun. I had the pleasure of meeting a lot of AFOLs, builders, LEGO designers and friends. I displayed my MOCs that were showcased at the LEGO House
Thanks to those who has supported, "faved", shared my builds and also made constructive critiques.
Thanks to all the great builders out there who are a big source of inspiration.
Also a big thank you to all the blogs and magazines that featured my works in 2019.
Dear friends, I wish you a full of bricks new year and a lot of fun!
All the best!

This vintage-cars-themed engagement shoot took me straight back in time. Lots more to be found right here. Tomorrow is their wedding in Palm Springs, and I am superdeeduper excited.
This really stood out on a surburban street! It is clearly owned by an enthusiast who also has the Montego in the next image along, and another classic British car I couldn't quite work out! I was surprised to find out that this has had the same owner from new! Now with the MOT exemption extended, 70s cars like these no longer need to be tested, although you can still take your pre 1978 car for a voluntary test. Like most classic car owners, the owner of this 18/85 has taken advantage of the exemption, with its most recent MOT expiring in May 2018. I would imagine it would easily pass another test, should it need one! I would imagine that the Jaguar in front is the owners daily car, carrying on with the 'British' car theme!
Mileage in between MOTs - 232 Miles
Mileage at last MOT - 31,488 Miles
Last Ownership Change - 8th September 1970

Taking a brief black and white break, but staying with the car theme. Hope you like it. It's HOT!
Benji always keeps sending surprises😂 I got some more but they werent hubcap or car themed so I didnt take a pic
Long before I started my movie cars theme, I actually already built a car from The Fast and Furious. Brian O'Connor (the character played by Paul Walker) uses a Ford F150 SVT Lightning as his daily driver. I built the model back in 2008, but updated it a few times since.
...it would be a hornet!
I guess you see the car theme here. I told a couple of contacts that I just wasn't into cars, and here I am, just days later, posting 2 in a row.
All I remember about the car is that it's British. MG? Austin Healy? They're all the same to me. Sorry, JW and Stretch!
Weekly car themed event on Poole quay. This week it was mainly VW's, although this looks like a Porche to me (but I'm no expert!)

(Disney) Cars themed cupcakes made for a little boy's 5th birthday, displayed on a toy race track. The mom (my friend) had mentioned she had this track that I could put the cupcakes on if I wanted, and I thought that was a great idea! I was so happy with how it looked, and how perfectly all the cupcakes fit.
Chocolate cupcakes and vanilla cupcakes, both with vanilla frosting. Fodant toppers with the letters of the birthday boy's name and age. Handmade paper toppers with characters from the Cars movie.
We started by cleaning up the puppies who were covered with hundreds of fleas!!! At this young age it's tricky... we couldn't use any chemical to kill off the fleas, so for more than 3 hours, with a tiny little comb, we pulled the fleas out... one by one.
This time we decided to go with a car theme, so the mom is Lexus, and the puppies are: Cooper, Beemer, Mercedes and Prius.
From last summers RAW event in Copenhagen. Great event, great people, fun times and blue skies. This one is painted on the streets of the Copenhagen harbor where the event took place in 2010.
Did some very out-of-shape bars with snow on top on this one, and had some extra work with the kiwi colors for fill-in.
Soten was with me on the right side and Benny the Cab from Roger Rabbit made it for the car-theme. Around the corner was a wall from Londons RT crew, Towns, Vibes and Dazer. Big thanks to the whole RAW crew and everyone who partied with us to the break of dawn.
In the Cars-theme of our trip we did the Bugatti-experience (he was born here and started the Bugatti-enterprise}.
This Ford AA truck has been a permanent resident for several years outside the car-themed Quaker Steak & Lube bar/restaurant along 49th Street N, on the border of Pinellas Park and Clearwater. After its condition deteriorated, Jim’s Body Shop, Seminole was entrusted with its restoration and it looks pretty smart now.
