This was taken on the first kinda-trip of 2006. 8 of us crammed into a 7 passenger van, i;m in the middle sitting on a bunch of jackets. We went to Heavenly in S Lake Tahoe. Fun place.

These photos were apparently taken on the first day of an experiment to speed up travel times for people who car pool with at least 3 people in a car.
This is one of the main highways in Johannesburg and is called the Ben Schoeman Highway.
It apparently took the photographer 3 hours to travel as opposed to his usual 1.5 hours.

A dedicated carpool lane connector from the southbound 14 freeway to the southbound I-5 is currently under construction.
