Trying to keep up with the speed of the Carousel at Bear Mountain.

The Ergon Carousel used to be three members of Narcosis (Johnboy, Brody, Oliver), one member of Carmen (Chris) and one member of Beecher (Daniel). Narcosis were arguably one of the fastest bands on the planet, but these guys are faster. For the best part of a year they have been writing, practising and recording.

In October last year their debut self titled EP was released as a limited edition CDR through Holy Roar Records (Rolo Tomassi, Gallows, Dananananaykroyd) and have since been piling the plaudits high, last night in Leeds was The Ergon Carousel's first live show. Dead good turn out, familiar faces, spent most of the show stood on the stage behind the PA, their set is around 15 minutes long and they played 12 songs, seemed alot faster from time I've spent with them at practice. Dead good.

No over complicated/exciting strobist info, 580EXII zoomed to 80mm, bounced off a ceiling from behind the camera via WT.

Carved Jumper

This carousel sits in the middle of a smal shopping mall in Seaside. I'm sure it's uninteresting during the day. Lit up and vacant at 10 PM it becomes creepy and mysterious.

Puyallup Fair Carousel

Steve helped Evan onto the carousel before his ride; I came up to help him off. But I snapped a couple pictures first.

Lakeside's carousel is not the most beautiful I've seen, but it is the most fascinating.

Mondays and Tuesdays after 5 are $1 night at the SC Boardwalk. We decided to take Grey to ride the horsies but got there kind of late in the evening-- he only wanted to ride the carousel once.

Oh well, you can tell he still had a good time.
