Actually operational! Usually after you have hyped small children up on ice cream and animatronics, there is the huge let-down of the carousel being shut down due to three inches of ice weather conditions. But not today!

Round theater in 5 equal sections. Each scene lasts about 5 minutes, then theater rotates to next stage featuring animatronics showing the progress of house appliances

At the mall

On a really cold and rainy Bank Holiday at a county show. This steam powered roundabout/ carousel/merry go round was well worth the wait especially as we found horses called Alice and Emily which suited our girls fine as they saw them as personalised. Used the Blackberry, and I like the result.

Originally, this carousel was to be installed in 1906 in SF. Didn't happen that year! The horse in the foreground is one of my favorites, she's sticking her tongue out. I never see the carousel moving this time of the morning, but it was today and there she was!
