Incredibly, there's a gorgeous old merry-go-round at the free Roswell Zoo. Rides cost like 25 cents each.
The Griffith Park Carousel was built in 1926. It was built by Spillman Engineering and was originally built for San Diego's Mission Beach. It lived in San Diego from 1933 to 1935 and then moved into its current location in Griffith Park in 1937.

This is the Carouesel from the Orange County Fair...2006...As of 2009 the fair will no longer be there, they are going to build condos or something...
