This trip to St. Lucia, we stayed with our friends (We were getting tired of winter.); this was shot from the veranda of their house. Pigeon Island is a national park that's now connected to the main island by a causeway.
I've spent a lot of time in St. Lucia and continue to go back, so I'm always posting more pictures of this beautiful Caribbean island. Click this link to see my full album www.flickr.com/photos/tpridemore/albums/72157625551418563

Even though this beach faces east, we still had some nice sunset color in the sky.

There are many little pocket coves and undeveloped beaches such as this in Jamaica. I know one near Black River on the south side of the island that's beautiful, secluded and great for swimming. This one is in Trelawny, an area on the fabled north coast of Jamaica just east of Falmouth, about halfway between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios.

These old fishing boats are rolled up on this beach above the tide line. Would you go out in these?

Divi trees are silhouetted against the sunset along the northwest shore of Aruba. A couple is seated in folding chairs watching the sunset and a sailboarder is split by the horizon on the right.
Yet another beautiful sunset from the shore of Aruba. Barcadera Sound is a large bay protected by a string of small, narrow barrier islands. Just south of the airport, the bay has the port facilities, marinas, fishing boats and some good seafood restaurants.

The setting sun finally dropped below the bank of clouds to set the horizon on fire.

This is the view to the southeast from Oyster Bay on Sint Maarten toward Saint Barthelemy. The sun set behind the mountain to our southwest but still filled the southeast with color for a short while. Sint Maarten, the Dutch side, shares this beautiful Caribbean island with Saint Martin, the French side.
