An empty Tara train, having discharged the zinc ore in Dublin Port heads back up towards North Wall freight yard assisted by a flagman over the busy Alexandra Road who manually controlled the traffic lights over the East Wall Road & back into the rail yard.
Class leader 071 in full CIE retro livery operating the lunchtime return to Tara Mines.

The very colourful Maria Grazia Onorato, currently on charter to CLdN from Moby/ Tirrenia operating in from Rotterdam to Dublin assisted by Dublin Port tug Shackleton.
Maria Grazia Onorato was built by German shiupbuilder Flensburger around the same time as the Irish Ferries WB Yeats.
On the side of the ship reads "Onorato per i marittimi italiani " which translates "Honored for Italian seafarers". The Onorato shipping company which owns Maria Grazia Onorato hires only Italian seafarers, and lobbies against competitors using non-EU labor to drive prices down.
The new power at Dublin Port, Seatruck are now top dog at the port, ousting P & O down to one berth down the river, literally.
All change at Dublin Port with Seatruck Ferries ( now part of CLdN / Cobelfret ) switching terminals with P & O Ferries.
P & O ferries now down to just 2 ships from 4, are pushed down to Seatrucks old terminal 5, while Seatruck now move to T3, now remaned to T4 including new berths.
