Macro Mondays theme: Cards
I've gone all girly today, using my daughter's Shopkins trading cards (seriously, what is the point of trading cards, especially when you don't trade them??!!). I thought they deserved a pink background, and I even used pink Play-do to hold them in place!
Used inks: versamagic, brilliance and versamark
Stamps used:
Pattern butterflies LP110 - Hero Arts
Designer flourishes LL221 - Hero Arts
Happiness text - TPC studio

When I was in England I bought a box of cards as I like to use the English ones when I send to England. Back home again I found I still had plenty of cards so these ones will stay with me until next year.

Miss Lily asked me.
"Well something like them. These are calling cards. You presented them when you called on someone."
"This one says To Effie on the back. Who is Effie?"
She was my Grandmother. She seems to have collected these. I think they date from the 1880s."

Someone gifted me the vintage collage dolls. They're too heavy for collage and so I thought I'd make cards with them. Lovely images but not something I'd want to use again, due to their thickness.
One of each of the business cards I have carried over the years. (Or at least most of them; there might be one missing.)
Taken for Macro Mondays "Card"
Finally my Christmas cards are here!!!
You really believe that someone could buy these cards?
Maybe is a good idea to sell them? How much would you pay for one?.
Actually they were created for my family but who knows. What do you think?

As Matt Damon stated in the movie the Rounders, "If you can’t spot the sucker in the first half hour at the table, then you are the sucker."

At Gencon 2015 there was an activity building structures from cards. This is a picture from the final day.
Built with love! And also scotch tape, painter's tape, glue, staples, string, zip ties, and band-aids. "Flagstone" path of miniature cards added for curb appeal.

I have been working on a collection of hand painted greeting cards using pencil, watercolour and a thick gloss.
This is Lilac
My lovely cousin Pauline ordered 40 of my photo cards which is pretty exciting!
This fabulous bird is a black Piwakawaka (aka fantail) in the South Island (we get pied ones in the North Is). They're so cute and flit around so delightfully I can't help but feel cheered up by their presence.
Oh and in case you're remotely interested I put a time-lapse of making my latest Tui card on the YT. Cardmaking Jane
Thanks for stopping by dear friends. I hope you're all fabulous out there!
