This is from the RallyWays project were we remove the stock rubber bushes in our Miata to replace them with Powerflex Polyurethane bushes.

I bought this R10 as standard and used it while at University. My wife used the other car (504 Peugeot) to go to work and back. If it stood for a few weeks I would use the cranck to start it. I sold it to one of the lecturers to pay my final bill before I was allowed to graduate. A year later I bought it back (with a blown engine) for the same price as what I had sold it. That's what you call love!! Then I started to re-build it to what you see here with a slightly modified cam, 1400 cc R5 motor and specially manufactured 13 inch rims (Instead of the 15 inch) so on a short sprint it really discouraged the Golf owners. I was clever enough not to go too long so I always kept them wondering what the end result would be. This one had disc brakes all round (as most did) and was a fantastic little car. This was not a Renault Alconi..

I forgot to say, it was actually my wife's car (I had graduated to an Alpha Romeo) the second time round. And she had a more competetive streak in her once it was completed which had me a bit worried at times.
