The classic 1955 Chevy, with its powerful grille and iconic badge, stands proudly under the autumn sunlight, embodying the spirit of American muscle and vintage style. Captured with a Fujifilm GA645Zi on Kodak Ektachrome 100 film, this front-facing shot highlights the Chevy’s bold chrome details and timeless design, perfectly set against a nostalgic backdrop of fall colors and vintage cars. This is a snapshot of retro car culture at its finest.

During the show I camped out for a while capturing this SLS from several different angles. I really focused on framing shots to either minimize or fully remove the spectator element. Not exactly easy to do at a well attended car show, but a mix of closeups and looking down from up high perspectives got the job done. And if there were any people in reflections they were easily removed in post work.

With my Clubman now on the market and the next ride likely being brought home soon this was probably the last time I'll be bringing it to the C&O show. A little bittersweet since it's been my first car worth bringing to the show. Time has just come for a change since the family count has grown to 5 and the Clubman is only a 4-seater.
