This baby comes straight from the barn, right to the bash. Other than a wash, all they did was put some air in her tires so she'll roll up onto the pedestal when it's her turn to shine.

After missing last month I made it back out for Caffeine & Octane yesterday. Huge turnout with big crowds and the most cars I've seen at the meet to date. Only downside was the August heat & humidity rearing its head early and quickly.
This was my first shot of the morning catching the lineup of classic Minis.

Shot originally at C&O but I put a lot of post work into this to create a more automotive shoot style finished image. Just showing off my Photoshop retouching skills for fun.
Seen at the January 2017 Caffeine and Octane.
Assuming this is the model for the U.S. market, it probably has the 4 cylinder 1990cc, 100hp single carburetor engine.
Maybe you could convince the owner to get a peek under the hood at that 2.0 liter SOHC I4.

The Barn Finds Bash usually takes up the Porky's lot with the haulers, but in the spirit of compromise, they're going to move to overflow lot so the ladies have a place to set up.
After all, it's all about the cars...

My buddy's old R50 named Otis reappeared at this past C&O. He had sold it a several weeks back so seeing it again was pretty cool. We met and talked with the new owner who knew my buddy by name and reputation. Good to see Otis living the low & slow life now.
