I was in Scotland as a exchange student in 2001. Of course me and my friend had to visit the Loch Ness monster.

I couldn't capture the real one, so I had to take this little porcelain nessie in a box with me as a souvenir.

I believe in... magic — the ability to stir the soul with light and shape and color. To create grand visual moments out of small and simple things, and to infuse big and complicated subjects with unpretentious elegance. ~ Amyn Nasser

Okay...so you might wonder, how many times can you photograph the same spot...well, that answer is easy; over & over & over because no two images are ever alike thanks to the light, and in this case, we were treated to some pretty magical morning light at Oxbow Bend in Grand Teton National Park :-) Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday; we're off to celebrate Mike's birthday with family. Many thanks to everyone for all the birthday wishes, and of course, all your visits and kind words!!!!

Captured in Edinburgh, Scotland 2014

We have had a lot of cloudy & rainy days in Pittsburgh, I got going early to take advantage of the sky this morning.

These clouds and the light from the moon made tonight's sky look amazing. Also, there is a small spider web somewhere there... Here is my quick capture. Enjoy!

I finally broke down and did my first HDR + Tone Mapped photo and here is the results. I am still not sure how I feel about the whole thing in general (HDR that is) but I have seen some pretty impressive photos.

I shot this on a grey day, the only colour was the oak leaves.

My recent visit to Merritt Island. Some good shots. This place never disappoints!

Captured in London, England. October 2020.

The boys happily marches on after capturing a soviet tank.

It was a competition of some sort for young girls at the Fair. I was in the back of the room, and there was no way to get enough DOF to get both the phone and the stage in focus. But by taking two photos--first the phone, then the stage, in focus--I was then able to composite them into a single story telling image. I should have taken a third shot, since there is blur visible in the audience between the phone and the stage. Oh well, next time...

Sunset down at Nightcliff, Northern Territory. Three shots using lens shift then stitched with Image Composite Editor (ICE) by Microsoft Research Computational Photography Group. A great program and it is free.

The image processed with Capture One.

The roseate spoonbill is beautiful in almost any light but the setting sun gives it almost a luminous look !! We are so fortunate to have this species in Florida and to be able to see it in different situations and light .

Wishing you all a blessed and wonderful day !!!
