I am obsessed about capturing every space that I am in. Also I do capture performances or spaces on request for a project. I upload the best of the captures on to FLICKR. From these I select a few to write my blogs about the experience, introspection, learning etc. I also use for executing projects in education, performing arts etc.
I create an annual calendar as a tribute to Indian dance and music

This tree is like the whomping willow for the man who sells kites that are on long lines which keep getting caught up in the tree. It is fully decorated, and even as we watched he got another line stuck in there.

Elements of FACIT: the depth of field is nice in the shot and the contrast is great. The angle of view is slightly above the subject. The texture of the camera add interest to the shot. Techniques that were used were control of the aperture to get a shot with good lighting.
Message: We have always used cameras to create beautiful images but cameras themselves can also be beautiful.
Techniques from class: This was shot on the day we practiced bracketing so aperture was used to get a strong shot, in a dimly lit space.
