What seemed to be a small shorted legged spider sitting on it's little web turned out to be much larger spider with and interesting leg folding technique.
When capturing this image, I considered the FACIT principles, focusing on angleI chose an angle that positioned the clock against a lighter, contrasting building in the background, ensuring it stood out clearly and drew the viewer's attention. The image tells the story of Chicago's timeless connection to its architecture. I shot this in manual mode to have full control over the exposure settings, allowing me to balance the light effectively while preserving the intricate details of the clock and ensuring the contrast with the background was just right.
