GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!

Dunes on Cape Cod Bay

We hiked down near the water's edge and found a patch of glasswort. I got covered in sand photographing it and, to my dismay, the sand on my pants got on the camera and lens on the walk back. The focus ring was even a bit crunchy. Oops.

The rail bridge in the normal raised position as a ship passes underneath.

I'm drawn to this spot like a magnet every time I get to Cape Cod. This shot doesn't show it, but the Atlantic ocean is just to the right of the shelter. At the viewing deck, though, you can see both sides of the Cape and early on a summer morning before anyone else is there, it just doesn't get any better...

The primary reason I pedal the canal service roads is views like this.
