Does she look like a bobcat or what? This is one of the prettiest kittens we've ever had on the farm. I've been trying to take as many photos as I can before she gets bigger. She does need a name though. Any suggestions?

Flying Ant Day or Flant Day is an informal term for a day on which queen ants emerge from the nest to begin their nuptial flight. In most species, the male ants also fly alongside them, although they are smaller and less noticeable. The queens fly for a while - sometimes being dispersed very long distances, and sometimes going only a few meters - then mate, and drop to the ground where they lose their wings, and attempt to start a colony (from wikipedia).

I got a new macro lens awhile back ago and really just started playing with it for flower photography. I bought it for portraits and macro so having some fun with it.

I played with this a little in post to make it look more like a painting. I believe this is the beginning of a wild cone flower.
