These cancer cells develop as small, benign (noncancerous) cell clumps known as adenomatous polyps. Gradually, as these polyps continue growing, they turn into colon cancers. These polyps generally produce fewer symptoms and colon screening is the only way of diagnosis.

I don't remember seeing many rainbows at 6:24 am. It filled the western sky above the valley that is Decorah. I took it as a personal omen of good. Later in the day, my oncologist and I agreed that I need to do a round of chemotherapy, followed by radiation. My first chemo treatment will be on October 31.
