This is a photograph I took of an ashtray on a long empty table at a local restaurant. I used the rule of thirds to focus in on the ashtray, but since the shot is done vertically, the ashtray is slightly more centered than normal. This picture utilizes the length of the table to give a sense of depth. All the vertical lines in the table all lead to a vanishing point. Not only that, but the umbrella poles in the middle of the table use their size to show how long the table is and further the viewers sense of depth. In contrast, the foreground, which includes the ashtray, sits on a plank that runs horizontally. This makes the picture feel more open as if there is room to grow. Perhaps alluding to the long process of quitting smoking.

I photographed a wedding today and this is they're family dog. He is 11 yrs old, i'm not sure of the breed, but he has bad cancer. The doctors told him they can't do surgery or else he will die in surgery, so he is just living till he passes. Its a sad situation but i'm glad to see that there owners out there that give a shit about they're pets. Giving a chance to live until it can no longer do so.
