The weather was not as predicted with sleet, snow and temps mostly 32.
I managed 2 tiny strolls in the sun before and after the storm, but did have to stay in the camper for over a day.
I was happy to see many beautiful nature views with some Autumn colors. The Washington pass was especially spectacular with fresh snow, luckily the road was dry and safe.
Weather forecast (when getting gas) was not in our favor . We had to cut the trip short.
I am happy we got out and had an adventure.

Looking at Nevada, from Arizona, several miles below Davis Dam ('Big Bend' area). I believe the distant peaks are The Dead Mountains in California, including Mount Manchester. Someone more familiar with the area can correct me if I'm wrong on that.
The river was very low, but that could be typical for this time of year. It was my first January visit.
Old camper at Brown's Ferry Park, Tualatin, Oregon. Either abandoned or being used as a homeless shelter.
Who is ready for a vacation in the Prowler. It appears to be a somewhat dated camper. It looks like it has all its parts including a door, windows and wheels. We will have to take a chance that it is furnished and that the propane tanks work for heat, AC and cooking. It looks like there could be a slightly leaky roof, so bring an umbrella. Who has a truck that can haul this camper?
Online research shows pictures of this camper (same colors) made in the 1970’s.
Buddy and Lucille watching birds from camper screened window.
We opened this window to get photos and then closed. Hot out there.
We have great air in the camper.
Some people are so talented, and in rural Alaska I find that just about everyone has been blessed with an abundance of talents.
Take this cute little camper for example. The craftmanship is extraordinary - and it looks to be better built than the ones you would pay several thousands of dollars to buy from an RV Sales lot.

Hanstholm beach, Jutland/Denmark
A classic: the surfer parks his classic camper on the beach, for a little surfing session.
