It's been a while since I went for a dusk outing chasing colors. And believe it or not, I have not really captured this night's destination other than in a few snapshots during a few past visits. Yes, I visited Buffalo Botanical Gardens several times and we even had a membership for a while but I never took the time to capture this beautiful building without crowds in a way that would allow it to shine ... #etbtsy

... and wow, is it a beautiful building! As I get a chance to visit botanical gardens in other cities I also get to appreciate the gardens we have here in Buffalo more and more. Quite an architectural beauty that also needed a lot of luck and dedication from many people to survive through its many challenges since it was built in 1900.

What the Fake News Media failed to report, however, was that another 2024 candidate, Steve Carlson, was campaigning in the Scranton area at the same time. Military helicopters seen over I-81 ensured that no unwanted clouds entered the airspace over the NRFF. And don't let this photo fool you: Carlson drew crowds larger than the ones Former President Donald Trump claims to draw. So there’s this campaign in Brantford to spread kindness by painting rocks and hiding them around the city. When you find one you’re supposed to post it on Facebook and then re-hide the rock. My neighbour’s kids found one by my yard today while walking their dog and it says HOPE! I asked if I could take a pic of the rock to share with my sister, as she lost a granddaughter at birth named Hope. When the kids came by a second time they said they wanted me to have the rock! So I guess now I’ll have to hide it somewhere!

Near Wakool, NSW, We are nearing the end of a national election campaign in Australia. This is but one of the myriad of signs appearing around Australia at the moment but I love the originality of the background even if the sign itself is not particularly original. The hot issue in this electorate (where I am not voting) is water and many farmers will be supporting Kevin Mack.
