Before I being my tale, a disclaimer. This picture is from a few days ago, but Mom liked it and wanted to use it. I did NOT get to go swimming again. Mom is mean.
So, at training class on Monday, Mom says I got a compliment I will never get again.
As we were leaving, Mom tried to help out another class member by walking her new puppy (who had been brought to class for socialization purposes) while she tried to get her very-excitable German Wirehaired Pointer Charlie out of the ring. She need two hands, because he was trying to lunge at the new class of beginners coming in--he only wanted to play, but he's big and it's a little intimidating,
So Mom walked Juno and me outside and we did our business. Charlie and his mom came out and his mom goes to mine: "You're so lucky you have a calm dog."
Mom laughed and laughed. I don't know why. I'm calm, right? Doesn't every dog get excited about water...and retreiving...and visitors...and people walking down the street...and training classes...and rabbits...and deer...and frogs...and puddles...and snow...and sticks...and...almost everything else?
Betcha they weren't that clean at the end!
Right before my vacation, I ran the "Run for your Lives Zombie 5K" in Maryland with Steph. Well...SHE ran it I "strolled at my own pace talking to and taking photos of the Zombies who were supposed to kill us."
I found if you spoke to them calmly and asked them about their day, they let you go by with your life. Ha!

Friday night came easy and calm, with another day of Saph missing, my frustration levels were getting on very high. Em, was hurted, after the Spellbound was attacked and she wasn't fit to work. Thankfully the bar was going on an easy night beside the fact it was Friday and the Bad Moon was close because of a shot out. I meet the photographer of the pornshop that give me some interesting facts about the place and was a nice talk after all. Then later both Em and Aileen arrival, with all the crowd focus on themselves, we could easily talk about Helena's death and some of her whereabouts before she got missing and found again cutted in pieces. We all agreed that something wrong was coming to the town and suspicious were pointing out to a certain kind of creature that be elusive as well as viciously evil. So with that in thought my mate and I escorted Em to her home to be sure she arrived safely and continue with what we have ahead.

calm, content? i don't know. this kid, like pretty much all of gypsy kids, asked me to take a picture of him, but only when i took the picture i realised he had that look. kinda reminded me of time when i was a kid, there were a lot less worries back then, or i just didn't know they exist. and yes, he's glowing all right!
