Arena Cove, in the community of Point Arena, CA, is a calm, sylvan spot to rest at. Large sandstone cliffs shelter the cove from strong northwest breezes. On this afternoon, it was quite warm, and very comfortable.

I took this tonight, Chris and I took Barney and Poppy for a walk, the water was so calm(which is more than I can say for Popp!) The refelctions were lovely.
The calm after the storm. We sang around this campfire the night before, then a pond moved in.

A tranquil sunset at the welsh coast. I tested out my balancing skills too with a bit of stone stacking
Friday night came easy and calm, with another day of Saph missing, my frustration levels were getting on very high. Em, was hurted, after the Spellbound was attacked and she wasn't fit to work. Thankfully the bar was going on an easy night beside the fact it was Friday and the Bad Moon was close because of a shot out. I meet the photographer of the pornshop that give me some interesting facts about the place and was a nice talk after all. Then later both Em and Aileen arrival, with all the crowd focus on themselves, we could easily talk about Helena's death and some of her whereabouts before she got missing and found again cutted in pieces. We all agreed that something wrong was coming to the town and suspicious were pointing out to a certain kind of creature that be elusive as well as viciously evil. So with that in thought my mate and I escorted Em to her home to be sure she arrived safely and continue with what we have ahead.
I am making mandalas to increase my ability to find peace and calm during these shocking & horrible times in my country. My inspiration comes from my Buddhism. Viewers are invited to make their own meanings. I am using things in my cupboards, from my walls and garden and trying to focus my mind on the goodness and compassion I know still exist at hand & in this world.
This mandala made from purple scarf, plates, leaves and porcelain Buddha

I give up quite a bit of my time to hopefully help some unfortunate Kids in Care and one of them a 14 yr old asked me about photography. I helped him buy a DSLR that should arrive in the next few days however I decided to give him a wee verbal lesson about the relationship between Aperture, Shutter Speed & Sensitivity regarding creative exposure settings. After half an hour I gave him my 7d with 50mm f1.8 and asked him to shoot 10 images and to explain what he was trying to create. I was very very impressed when he came back with some cool exposures using both aperture and shutter speed to get the desired effect regarding DoF and control of movement.
This one is my Fav from his Images and please excuse me for uploading an Image taken and processed by someone else however he wanted to create calm and I believe he managed to do so in this Image. I believe his new camera ( a second hand 350d ) will get some good use, he is saving up for a lens now and a few other kids when seeing the results are wanting to follow his example.
