Ein ruhiger Abend am Ammensee mit einem tollen Farbspiel im Himmel. Für die Aufnahme wurde ein ND 3 Filter verwendet um das Wasser glatt zu ziehen.
It was a calm evening at the lake Ammersee with a beautiful play of colors in the sky. I used a ND 3 Filter to get the mirroring and smooth water.
Escarcha (puma concolor) is known for her extraordinary calmness and confidence when humans are present. In part this comes from her mother, Petaca, who was known for her unusually relaxed demeanor, and in part from growing up in an area where pumas are protected and humans are not seen as a threat.

Standing atop the overlooks on the Blue Ridge Parkway is some of the most relaxing moments of my life. Just standing against the cool breezes, the summer winds, and those night time gusts. Listening to the sounds of birds, or oncoming storms, looking out over these vast mountain ranges. The haze capturing and painting with light, it's a joy to just sit back and watch the world turn. Sometimes you may loose yourself in a view, maybe forget to head back before the modern world has to shut down for a while... That's ok, taking a break from the day to day, the rolling freight train of life today is just what you need. Like Bob Seager once said, Roll Me Away.

I found this warm image in my archives. Gives me hope now Summer seems to have come to an end. Even in November one can have wonderful calm nights.

River is calm today.
The Afon Glaslyn is a river in Gwynedd, north-west Wales. While not of great significance in terms of its length, it is one of Gwynedd's primary rivers, and has greatly influenced the landscape in which it flows. It has its source in Glaslyn, a cirque lake on the flanks of Snowdon.
Here in nature I sit in thought,
Past experiences compared to naught,
Beautiful leaves, frail and gilded,
Like memories, oh loved and wilted,
Soothing sounds of harmonic bliss,
Losing thoughts in beautiful abyss,
Pure light streaming down in glorious rays,
That have shown throughout my darkest days,
Storms approaching threaten inner peace,
Rains washing away the feelings deceased,
When the maelstrom ends and clouds clear,
Yet again calming thoughts will be here.
