About 250 jobs for call center agents and management personnel are now available at the Laoag City branch of Expert Global Solutions, an international and leading business process outsourcing company, which formally opened November 21, 2014 at the Ilocos Norte Centennial Arena. Governor Imee Marcos and Bong Borja, EGS Philippines President and Country Head, graced the occassion along with EGS employees who started to work here since November 2. More jobs with EGS will be available once the company has expanded in the province within the next 18 months.

Vandaag bestaat de Walk-In Amsterdam vijf jaar en dat moet gevierd worden! We nodigden collega's van andere afdelingen uit binnen KPN om langs te komen en te horen waar wij momenteel met veel trots aan werken. Er waren heerlijke hapjes bereid door onze geweldige medewerker Chantal en de nieuwe instroom hielp met het uitdelen van die hapjes. Er was een gezellige borrel achteraf met live muziek van muzikant Dennis Koppen, volgens draaide DJ VincentDeKid en sloot DJ DeadPixels de avond af.

The buildings in AsiaTown IT Park dwarf in comparison to those in Makati or in Cebu Business Park (which is located a few meters from the place). Most of the buildings here are at most only 14 storeys-high. I believe that the reason for this is that there is a telecommunications tower in the said area. If a 20-storey building would be erected here, there is a strong possibility that fidelity of the telecommunications signal will be severely compromised.
