Another to join the Owly Bunch.

All designs are my own.

The first Mischievous Mouse of 2021 😊

It’s been a bit of a dull day today, so thought I’d make it an arty one. Inspired by the haggis I bought ready for Burns Night next week, so here’s the painted rock of Haggis McCheddar, of the clan McCheddar. He lives near Tobermoray on the Isle of Mull. He’s getting hidden on Monday.

Should I give him a sporran? 🤔

Might try this recipe for haggis toastie with any left over haggis

Not sure how many more Valentine mouse rocks I’ll be able to get done before Valentines Day- hadn’t realised it was this Sunday

To keep up with tradition, the mice all have names linked with cheese. Luckily there’s a cheese called Valentine. So I thought I’d base it on Rudolph Valentino- “Son of the Sheik” or rather Mouse of the Squeak....

Now the rain has stopped I’ll go out and hide these rocks

Had a request for a pebble to hide whilst on their holiday in Whitby next week. Count Primula at your service!

His this one at the Whitby RNLI station. Didn’t realise there was a plaque of Henry Freeman, seemed appropriate to leave it nearby.

Seeing as though we’re still on lockdown the mice will only come out wearing masks. So they’re forming The masked Heroes & Villains gang, ready for Halloween rock drop.

Think Jason Voorcheese will be joining them soon. Any more ideas?

Oliver & Olivia ready for hiding at Cromwell Bottom Nature Reserve

Little Ted rock spreading the how to spot signs of stroke Act FAST, will be left at the Tan Hill Inn ready for someone to find

Another masked mouse ready for the Halloween rock drop .

Little Ted is the mascot of our Stroke Unit and has a mission to spread the Act FAST message- how to spot signs of stroke. They appear on rocks in many guises and are predominantly hidden around the Calderdale area. Finders are asked to post a photo to Facebook #CalderdaleRocks when they find one, the rock can be kept or rehidden.

The Mischievous Mice all have names relating to cheese. Mrs. Kirkham is a Lancashire Cheese which my friend came across whilst scouring Tod market for name ideas. She’s a member of the Trefoil Guild told so I thought I’d base the character on her.

Little Ted has just one mission in life- to spread the Act FAST message, how to spot signs of stroke.

Here’s a few of the Little Ted Halloween Ted Rocks 2019, getting ready to being hidden far and wide in September and October.

Hope they bring a smile to who ever finds them.
