The Ceez was very accommodating today as I hovered around with my camera- no hissing or scratching at all! He did swipe at my camera strap though.
Difference is night and day. Vegas sure has changed a lot in 8 years. Celine Dion still has shows here though haha.
Caesar Dawgustus
So the great snowpocalpyse has come to an end and the world (Athens GA) will attempt to return to normalcy. With work, my ample time to experiment and practice with lighting has been greatly reduced, though I still have plenty ideas for shots I want to try this year.
Simple shot for today. Picture of Caesar Dawgustus, a copy of the once famous statue that resided in Athens until it was auctioned off. Same set up. One speedlight flash camera left.

Caesar says that Halloween is a very peculiar tradition. All he has to do is put on a silly mask and carry a paper bag and people can't wait to give him taxes and tribute for Rome (i.e., sweet things to eat). He says he wishes his conquest of Gaul was this easy.
Brutus, meanwhile, dressed in a Shrek costume just pounds on the door and says, "Trick-or-treat. Stinky feet. Gimme something good to eat!"
