I made a wonderful railway excursion on May 3 in a full-length dome private railway car. The trip was operated by Zephyr Route and the 20th Century Railroad Club. The trip was from Chicago to Quincy, Illinois (268 miles each way) with a guided bus tour to Hannibal Missouri during the mid-day.
I photographed this Cadillac Escalade EXT in front of the US Post Office in downtown Hannibal. Designed in Second Empire style, the elegant building opened in 1888. The building is now owned by the city, but I have no idea who owns the Escalade!
