Our kitchen cactus has flowered over a prolonged period, albeit the flowers only last a couple of days.

I don't know what kind of cactus this is but I find the spider-like strings interesting. Taken at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Hamilton, Ontario.

These are actually the arms of one very large cactus. Seen in the Baja desert of San Felipe, Mexico.
