A Georgia Power distribution service pole, with service line, transformer and street light. Located along GA 17 North in Tignall, GA.
We're making this power cable into a "suicide cable." Sounds safe, doesn't it?
Get out the wire strippers. Clip off the end of the cord that doesn't plug into the wall. Peel back the outer insulation to reveal the three cords within. Snip back the green ground cord-- we don't need it. Take the other two wires, white and black in this case, and strip the ends.

i see that link has expired ... but, essentially ... this is a 2x2 ribbed scarf that is also cabled, so lays flat.

Designed by the architectural firm Cobb & Frost and completed in 1886, this Chicago landmark is located downtown at 25 E. Erie. It was built for Ransom R. Cable, the president of the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railway Company.
This incredible mansion is among only a few remaining structures that illustrate the original elite residential character of the area just west of North Michigan Avenue. Today the Ransom Cable mansion is home to Driehaus Capital Management LLC. I haven't seen the interior, but online sources note that it has been extensively renovated and much of its original interior detail has been lost.
