Location: Newark, Delaware, USA - 540km from home.
Parked at the Biden Welcome Center on our way to D.C. was this CX-5 from Ontario: Ontario is around 500km away from NYC from its most southern point, where most people are living. It stretches far up north, but I'm always going to set Toronto as the starting point for the distance.

I've back from short trip.
This channel is Setonaikai
that separate Honsyu and Shikoku islands.
I visited Hiroshima, Yamaguchi etc. this holidays
with my car CX-5 (2.2D).
Fuel efficiency is over 18km/L (include highway),
and it's possible to run more than 900km once of refueling.
In addition, Hiroshima is home place of Mazda.
今回は定番スポットばかりを点々としましたが、
山口、広島周辺を旅してきました。
写真は現在整理中です。また、順次アップしてゆきます。
まずは、しまなみ海道の因島にて。
15万キロ走行したMPVに代わり、
今回から旅のお供となるCX-5を入れてみました。
（といっても中古です）
高速道路を含めると燃費は18km/L以上、
航続距離は900km以上可能で、
燃料代は今までのMPVの半分以下です。
（デミオならさらに経済的ですね。悩みました。）
車の大きさを考えると、この経済性は立派です。
静かでずっと低回転なので音楽もよく聞こえます。
心配は、バッテリーとタイヤが高そうな事。
でも、凄く良くできた車と感心しっぱなしです。

The Mazda CX-5 is a compact crossover SUV[ produced by Mazda starting in 2012 for the 2013 model year lineup. It is Mazda's first car featuring its Kodo design language, as first shown in the Shinari concept car in August 2010.
It shares its platform with the Mazda3 and Mazda6,[ and is also the first vehicle featuring the company's full suite of Skyactiv technologies, using a rigid, lightweight platform combined with a series of engines and transmissions to reduce emissions and fuel consumption. Skyactiv engines and transmissions were first featured in the 2012 Mazda3.
Spotted in the snowy Geneva, not far from the main station, was this export plate from Hungary!
Distance from home: 1265 km.
Unexpected spot ! I was leaving the bus to going to the city to spot, and I see this car coming ! I was shocked !!
The car is a Technical and administrative staff car of [???] !

This Mazda CX-5 from Spain, was travelling up the A1(M) motorway. Spanish cars aren't common to see on the motorways really, not in my experience anyway, so it was nice to see this relatively new CX-5 on Spanish plates.

Travelling along Roger Millward Way, was this Mazda CX-5 from Germany. The car was used by a tour guide of the famous Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy), based in the community of Stockstadt am Main, located just a few kilometres west of the city of Aschaffenburg in north-western Bavaria, 30km south-east of Frankfurt am Main.

This is an optional plate design from Michigan, featuring the Mackinac Bridge. I really like it for its's color grading, which is a bit too playful at the sime time.
The scond generation of the Mazda CX-5 was introduced last year. This one is in the long-term test fleet of Dutch car magazine Autoweek.
