Hi all !!
There you go, I worked on this photo. I love this character. My crazy little demon from the future. He still has his lover and robot ... still his conscience and dragon. And he still continues to do stupid things. Even though I struggle in the cyber world, I love taking pictures of this character more and more. Maybe I should give him a name ... I tried to do a "movement" on this picture... Hope you like it!
Story : "Come here !! You're mine. Only to me! Even if I have to fall to catch up with you. I will devour you. Because you are mine."

Nell Trent, also referred to as Little Nell, is a fictional character in the 1841 novel The Old Curiosity Shop by Charles Dickens. The novel's main character, she is portrayed as infallibly good and virginal. An orphan, she leads her grandfather on their journey to save them from misery but gradually becomes weaker throughout the journey, and although she finds a home with the help of a schoolmaster, she sickens and dies before her friends in London find her. Her death has been described as "the apotheosis of Victorian sentimentality

The curiosity of kittens is one of the things which makes them so cute but it also makes taking photos of them quite challenging as they tend to walk towards the camera. Leo is no exception and as a result I got many blurred photos. This is one of the few which turned out nicely.
I'm going to be on vacation for a week and won't have many opportunities to go inworld. I've stored up some pictures to post while I'm away if I have good wifi, but they may not be posted daily, and I won't be able to post any new stuff sponsors send me until I get back. See you all when I get back!

The funniest bird, instead of running away when i got close and started taking pictures, as all others did, just stopped whatever was doing and started staring at me,she did that without moving for almost 10 min. while i was going around taking pictures,well... maybe i could have taken a better close up but didn't wanted to scare her, it was to funny! :)
Taken in New Brighton, its really starting to feel like summer is on the way! The weather today was really nice.
Spent quite a while photographing these swans, they weren't shy, and thanks to some guy feeding them bread with his son, they stayed long enough for a good shot.
Very happy with how this came out :]
PP included levels, dodging, burning and a warming filter.
this young lion seems to be surprised and interested about me..."curiosity kill the cat" but not this time...a great point of view on this lion,a rare occasion.

A friend met along my travels. This horse lives in rural Texas, USA, with miles of free roaming. You can see the contentment in the eyes!

But far off
within a distance
a deer raised it's head
in curiosity of myself.
The deer
frightened,
yet calm
trouts off

I don't know more about the author of this verse but I loved it. This was shot in the early morning in our meadow. This lady is a daily visitor and often lays in the tall grass for hours.
This ladybug was very surprised but curious enough to stop and look at the lens. She must have thought "Oh, this ugly creature has only one big eye"
Have a great day and thank you for visiting!

"Okay guys - what are we looking at? What's up there? What?Where?"
I couldn't resist this shot when the Magpie Lark landed on our window sill, looked in at all the little ornamental birds and saw them looking up in one direction. I was thrilled to see it look in that direction too. Not the sharpest shot I have ever taken, but the best I could do in the heat of the moment as it flew off just a second later!
The glass ornaments are all Australian Birds made by a glass artist from Tasmania called James Dodson. We have more than a dozen, most of which are in this shot. We bought the first one (the blue wren) on our honeymoon many years ago, and got the last one (the azure kingfisher) just last year. Sad to find the artist has now retired, but happy to have so many of his bright little creations. They are frequently given the once over by the real birds.
