Mint grows at Perkins' Good Earth Farm in DeMotte, IN July 2, 2021. Mint and other herbs are offered as u-pick options to the more than 200 members of the farms' CSA. Perkins’ Good Earth Farm is a certified organic farm and Dan and Julie Perkins practice regenerative agriculture including no-till and cover crops. They have enrolled in multiple CRP, CSP and EQIP contracts through NRCS and FSA to plant wildlife habitat and wind buffers and hedgerows, construct high tunnels and assist with their organic certification. Pumpkins grow at Cornucopia Farm in Scottsburg, IN on Sept. 30, 2021. Kevin and Linda Baird are growing 20 acres of pumpkins and squashes this year along with mums, corn, soybeans and tomatoes. The Bairds have enrolled in multiple EQIP and CSP contracts through NRCS to help address resource concerns on their land including implementing cover crops and building a high tunnel to grow tomatoes.
