Cities Service Company bought Tennessee Copper in the 1960s and all of Tennessee Copper's ALCo switchers were relettered for CSC. CSC is, incidentally, the same company that, in 1965, began selling gasoline under the CITGO brand. This was, of course, before CITGO became a subsidiary of Petróleos de Venezuela S.A., the Venezuelan state-owned petroleum company.
In December 1979 Dad found CSC SW1500 idling at the Copperhill engine facilities.

March 1986 and Dad shot Cities Service Company SW1500 with a southbound loaded ore train, crossing the bridge across highway 68 at Ducktown, Tennessee.
