Cities Service Company bought Tennessee Copper in the 1960s and all of Tennessee Copper's ALCo switchers were relettered for CSC. CSC is, incidentally, the same company that, in 1965, began selling gasoline under the CITGO brand. This was, of course, before CITGO became a subsidiary of Petróleos de Venezuela S.A., the Venezuelan state-owned petroleum company.

CSC ALCo S1 #105 (ex-Tennessee Copper 105) sits at the engine facilities in Copperhill, TN in April 1983.
