Hi Fly's 1999 Airbus A321-231 CS-TRJ departing Cardiff on flight HFY362P to Lyon (LYS). This was one of many charter flights between France and Cardiff due to the Six Nations rugby match held the following day. Friday 9th March 2024.
HISTORY
First Flight: 12th April 1999
Serial Nos.: 1004
This Airbus A321 was delivered to Aero Lloyd in April 1999 as D-ALAK. In February 2004, the aircraft was purchased by Onur Air, and reregistered as TC-OAL. The aircraft remained with that registration for 10 years, operating for Onur Air and Saudi Arabian Airlines in that period of time. In February 2014, the aircraft was acquired by leasing company ILFC, and was reregistered as EI-FDP. Hi Fly began operating the aircraft the following month, after having been reregistered again to CS-TRJ. Since March 2014, CS-TRJ has operated on behalf of Jet2, Springjet, the Belgian Air Force, and of course Hi Fly.
