The replacement aircraft for the Thomas Cook flight due to fly out from Glasgow Airport to Antalya. The flight had been due to leave at 0930 that morning, but the A330 to be used had a technical problem so couldn't be used. The flight eventually left Glasgow Airport at 2210, 12 hours 40 minutes late!

An afternoon Caledonian Sleeper ECS move is seen speeding through Coppull, north of Balshaw Lane, with the Polmadie-Wembley CHS 'beds'. Even though I'm far too young to remember, the 87 absolutely roared up the gradient and could be heard reverberating off the valley sides...they must have been a real treat on VWC services in years past!
