African Elephants / Afrikanische Elefanten (Loxodonta africana) crossing a sand road
in Tarangire N.P., Tanzania
On our way to the lake and moments before a heavy summer storm, we had to stop aside on the road cause i've seen this. I felt so compelled to capture the nature's diverse beauty... Trigger happy and with a child's rush, out I went into the stormy moment and got my click! And I'll thank my luck for ever that I did... Photo does not do justice here, as it was like being in a stormy paradise! Hopefully your eyes will follow in the picture and find the ... burning beauty of nature's violin!!!

Countryside around Turin from above.
This is a crossroad in the countryside around Turin, north of Italy, in spring time.
Some say that Nature adapts to cohabitation with our human species. We instead, should realize that We are the ones who have to react, adapt and accept. Nature has the real power and providence over the earth, sky and earth. And water always wins.
~Tom Cousteau Handy from "Deep Thoughts About Sandbars"
A great musical example of reacting to changes in tempo, tone and atmosphere.

Being a fairly big city, San Francisco has lots of diverse neighborhoods. From the upscale suburbs, to the poor Tenderloin, to China town, Embarcadero and Little Italy. This photo was taken at the corner of Columbus Avenue and Stockton street, right in the heart of the Italian district. Most of the cafes and restaurants can be found right on Columbus Avenue. The smell of freshly ground coffee and pizza is perceived throughout the area. At the right side of the frame at the background you can see probably San Francisco's most recognizable structure (after Golden Gate bridge), The Transamerica Pyramid.
Darkland ends often by a crossroad. All the options looks right, not all of them straight, almost none bright. And there is no try, no savegame, no way back. Only hope that your decision will bring you elsewhere...
