33 049 passes Dunbridge with the 12:10 Portsmouth - Cardiff
The 33's with 1500hp on tap were ideally suited to these light cross country services.
The end was not too far away for locomotive hauled trains on this route. Class 155 DMUs had already made an appearance and the last day of Class 33 operation was on 15th May 1988
47 096 approaches the level crossing at Santon Downham hauling 1M67, the 10:50 Yarmouth - Birmingham New Street
Class 23 No D5904 waiting departure from London Kings Cross with 2B68, this rather poor slide is the only colour photo I have of a Baby Deltic in service.
Built at the English Electric Vulcan Foundry and delivered to Horsey 34B in April 1959 she was withdrawn in July 1969 and scrapped by G.Cohen of Kettering in July 1969.

at my niece's church in austin, they needed to dispose of a non-functioning piano and one of the parishioners, probably one of the teens, suggested that they make a cross from the keys.

The lattice work of King's Cross station train shed roof reflected in the window of an LNER Mk.4 set, inspired by the work of Brendan Neiland RA.
In 1991 InterCity commissioned the renowned artist Brendan Neiland R.A. to paint a series of five works to celebrate the electrification of the East Coast Main Line and the full introduction of the full IC225 fleet. Brendan Neiland‘s style of realism and cityscapes was ideal and the artist created spectacular paintings that cleverly portrayed aspects of station architecture together with the electrification and the trains themselves in scenes at Kings Cross, Leeds, York, Newcastle and Edinburgh.

Just testing out my "new" Kodak Z915 that I found on Amazon for a whole $48.00. I have missed not having this camera around.
This stone pair is beautifully situated on the west coast of Mayo. I loved the walk down the farm track to this site. Looking across the bay towards Achill Island, you get a wonderful feeling of space, Croagh Patrick can be seen from here and also Inishturk and Clare Island. I could have spent hours here.
