Created for the TMI's "Black in the Back" April contest. The flowers were photographed by me, but from a neighbor's yard. I've been trying to think how I could somehow transplant all of them to MY yard, but don't have a plan....yet.

I created this beach scene for the theme "Shells" of the Smile on Saturday group. The beach is artificial as I don't live anywhere near a beach but I think it turned out quite real. :) HSoS !
In the comments I add an alternative picture for the theme. I ended up choosing the above one for the group as I wanted the shells to be the main subject and not a cute little seal. :)
the title is a quote by Richard Wagner, whose operas were a major source of inspiration for Ludwig II of Bavaria (1845-1886), who had the Schloss Neuschwanstein (English: New Swanstone Castle) built and its walls decorated with frescoes depicting scenes from the legends used in Wagner's operas

*actually... the truth is that I created this this for Halloween..but got so busy in RL I didn't post it...so better late than never I guess?
But it was fun to do. Hope you like it.. and sorry for the blood and gore..but hope it looks more 'Scooby Doo' than anything too scary.
