So this photo isn't going to win any awards but just wanted to show this buck. Not the largest mass buck I've ever seen, but definitely the craziest antlers. I've actually never seen a non-typical buck in the wild, especially not in cook county.
When I first spotted him, it was about 300 yards away..way across the field. I snapped a photo of him but it was so far away I couldn't tell if it was antlers or just the velvet shedding off a normal buck.
After a week of waiting for him to pop out again, with no avail, I decided it must have been one of the larger typical bucks that I previously posted pictures of, that was just shedding velvet making it look crazy. Until last evening, when he came running across the field. I quickly snapped a few photos, but I wasn't in the right spot to get a really good photo. I think I found my new project for the fall.

Crazy Tuesday - Libraries and Books
These are a collection of paperbacks for sale at a local Charity shop in West Mersea, Essex. Recycled books have always been a good seller in charity shops and it helps boost the funds of their charitable causes !! I also liked that the clock was for sale on the shelf too …….take time to read !!
... Box
My treasure box, but I'm not telling you what's in it. It also hasn't come out as I wanted, but never mind.

When David Walsh got his architect to dream up a fantastical entry point to the underground dungeons (sorry, galleries) of MONA, they came up with two ideas. The first was that patrons would have to walk over a tennis court, and the second was that they would be bamboozled by their own distorted mirror image.
You can see the electric glass doors here are just beginning to open, surrounded by the crazy mirror.
ANSH120 #6 "Crazy food"
This was supposed to be included in Thanksgiving dinner, but other plans had to be made. The oven was set to broil instead of bake. It was the craziest thing that happened during an otherwise normal holiday meal.

Found a coyote laying in a snow field. We stopped to check it out and it just laid there. Thought maybe it had been hit by a car since it was so unfazed by us being there. Watched for a bit and then another car came along. Up jumps the coyote and takes off for the mountain.

Construction continues on Crazy Horse Memorial which was started in 1948. Crazy Horse was a Lakota warrior who was born a member of the Teton Sioux Tribe in about 1843. The memorial is located outside of Custer, South Dakota. It is being blasted and drilled from granite. When finished it is planned to be 641 feet long and 563 feet high. Sadly, after looking at some recent photos of this place, I don't see any appreciable progress toward completion over the past 22 years (since I took this) ...
