Prendre un crayon tout neuf, l'insérer dans un taille crayon bien aiguisé, tourner, tourner, tourner... et tourner encore !
I've gone with a few different shades of green, plus a splash of red for contrast, for Smile on Saturdays "Go Green" theme. I like the slightly blue-ish tones in aquamarine, which reminds me of the ocean and is one of my favourite colours, along with turquoise.
Mes nouveaux crayons de couleur vont devoir attendre les Fêtes de fin d'année pour se faire aiguiser.

I came across this cheerful giant crayon fence yesterday. Something new, fun and unexpected to photograph. :-)

Our grandchildren have access to many artistic mediums, the hardest thing is to stop them eating the Wax Crayons !!!
Taken for this weeks Macro Mondays theme: Junk.
In our kitchen "junk" drawer you will find an endless supply of pencil crayons, markers, pens and pencils on hand; among other school supplies like glue, tape, etc...No excuses for not having something on hand when it is a Sunday night, the stores are closed and a school project is due Monday and a kid needs something in order to complete it... (Maybe we learned by trial and error but it doesn't happen anymore...lol) I even have some bristol board on hand...lol
I know this may not be considered "junk" but I really don't keep junk around the house as I am constantly recycling and donating items so I chose to photograph items that sit in my kitchen junk drawer. Hopefully this one works for today. :)
HMM to all!
