The weekends are the hardest time on the road. It is
when you start to crave the little things - qt on the
couch with epl, trashy tv, even errands - those little
momments that happen so quickly when you are in them
that you don't even notice them, but without them it
feels like something is missing. So, I decided to
celebrate my 3rd Saturday on the road with a slice of
home and made my way over to Cafe Americain for a
hamburger. Now, you may notice that this one is
served with a Dutch twist. As with many of the items
I've ordered here, my burger was served with a
complementary egg. Free of charge. The Dutch
chickens must have a strong union. Personally, I
chose to put mine aside and focus on the American
aspect of the meal.

A small explanation of my "crave" images... I don't drink soda except for maybe once or twice a year, and whenever it starts snowing (it's snowing right now), for some reason I crave it. Mostly Dr. Pepper, but Fizzy Lizzy drinks are so tasty, especially the pineapple soda on the right. Make sure it's ice cold, pour it into a glass, add peach schnapps. Drink. Cheers!
