I picked this rose off my bush in the backyard this morning. The roses are a gift to me from Mrs. Parker, the wonderful lady who lived in my house before it was mine. She planted them and gets 100% of the credit for there being here. She passed away several years ago, but she is thought of fondly every year when the roses bloom.

Day 26 - 8-27-11
Crave. We dropped Jade off to school, then went to memorial mall. After that we had brunch @ The Egg and I.
i was feeling horrible.
After that we went to the galleria! :D
Then CRAVE! For a cupcake for her! ;D
We went back to Linh's house then Jades house to chill.
Then i went to study with her. Was fun. Did a lot of Chem Work! Now im tired as heck!

'Crave' by Sarah Kane, as performed by Smack Carrots in the Smock Alley Theatre, Temple Bar.
The venue is adjacent to the main theatre and basically consists of a pit, overlooked by 2 levels of long terraces on 3 sides. To get to the viewing platforms you climb a ramp through a dark passageway around and behind the stage.
Prior to seating, the audience were invited to walk around and sit in the pit, where some of the actors (in character) wandered in an agitated manner, humming nursery rhymes and scrawling on the floor with chalk.
Ushered along the ramps by flashlight we passed other characters, creeping around, cackling, shining flashlights on our faces and an actor in the corner strumming the banjo.
During the performance actors would occasionally wander the terraces delivering their lines.
Overall a bizarre and confronting experience, pretty unforgettable mostly due to the powerful acting.

At the Crave bar, Novo coffee, tea, wine, liquor, beer and bubbles will all be served. The bar and lounge will also serve flights, like champagne and vermouth tastings.
Pautler-s-drive-in, More details on Wcities.com. Established in 1958 by the late Carl Pautler, this eatery has been popular with several generations of locals. Back in the '60s and '70s, ice cream was pretty much the mainstay. Today, while the ice cream menu is still extensive, one can also enjoy burgers, hot dogs, fries, chicken sandwiches, and more. If you crave ice cream, choose from their popular frozen custard, along with sundaes, floats, shakes, and other frozen goodies. You can eat indoors in their family-friendly dining room, or outdoors on the wooden deck. It is an especially popular place to go after a neighborhood Little League game.
